Welcome to Doseful (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Doseful mobile application (the “App”) available on the Apple App Store.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By downloading and using the App, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.

1. Information We Collect (And How We Store It)

Doseful is designed with a privacy-first, local-first architecture. We do not run proprietary databases or back-end servers that store your personal health data.

A. Health and Log Data (Stored Locally & on iCloud)

To help you track your GLP-1 health journey, you may log the following information in the App:

  • Medication & Dosage: Injection date, time, dosage amount (mg/units), medication name, and injection site.
  • Health Metrics: Body weight logs and daily status reports (symptoms, mood, side effects).
  • Notes: Custom notes intended for your doctor or personal reference.

Storage Location:

  • On-Device Storage: All of the above logs are stored directly on your iOS device using SwiftData/CoreData. We cannot access, view, or read this data.
  • iCloud Syncing (Premium Feature): If you choose to enable iCloud Sync, your data is securely synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud database container, which is fully controlled by you and secured by Apple. We have zero access to this private database.

B. Purchase and Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription to Doseful Pro, the transaction is processed securely through the Apple App Store and managed using RevenueCat.

  • Data Processed: Transaction identifiers, purchase date, subscription status, and product IDs.
  • No Payment Details: We do not collect or store credit card numbers or billing information. All payments are securely processed by Apple.

C. Device and Usage Data (AdMob & Diagnostics)

If you are using the free version of the App, we show advertisements using Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and process:

  • Your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) subject to your Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission.
  • IP address, device model, mobile carrier, and basic app interaction metrics to deliver and optimize advertisements.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We utilize trusted third-party SDKs to perform specific functions within the App. These third parties process your data according to their own privacy policies:

3. How We Use Your Information

Because we do not collect your personal health data, we cannot use it for marketing or other commercial purposes. Any data accessed by the App is used strictly to:

  • Provide local tracking, notification reminders, and charts within your device.
  • Synchronize your data across your personal Apple devices via iCloud (if enabled).
  • Validate subscription access to premium features (via RevenueCat).
  • Serve relevant advertisements to free-tier users (via Google AdMob).

4. Data Security

We rely on industry-standard security mechanisms to keep your data safe:

  • iOS Sandboxing: Your local logs are saved within the App’s secure local container sandbox, preventing other apps from accessing your data.
  • Apple iCloud Security: If you sync via iCloud, your data is protected by Apple’s robust cloud security protocols, including encryption in transit and at rest.
  • No External Servers: Because we do not run external servers, there is no central database of Doseful users that can be breached or compromised.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

Depending on your location (such as the European Economic Area or California), you may have specific rights regarding your data.

  • Access, Export, and Deletion: Because all your data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account, you can access, export, or permanently delete your data at any time directly through the App settings, or by deleting the App and clearing its data from your iCloud settings.
  • Opt-out of Tracking: You can modify your advertising tracking preferences at any time through your iOS Device Settings under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

6. Children’s Privacy

Doseful is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate corrective actions.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
