Welcome to CleanerZ, a mobile application developed and operated by UNGO Inc (“we”, “our”, or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).
By using CleanerZ, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We strongly believe in your privacy. CleanerZ does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data, photos, videos, or contacts with our servers or any third parties.
All core functionalities of the App—including photo scanning, duplicate detection, and media organization—are performed locally on your device. Your private media and data never leave your Android device.
2. Device Permissions
To provide its features, CleanerZ requires necessary permissions from your Android device. We only request these permissions to perform local tasks:
- Photo and Video Access (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO): Required strictly to scan for duplicates, blurry photos, and large videos, and to execute deletion commands exclusively initiated and confirmed by you.
- Contacts Access: Required strictly to analyze your address book for duplicates or missing information and to execute merging commands exclusively initiated by you.
- Biometrics (Fingerprint/Face Unlock): Used locally to secure the “Secret Vault” feature. Biometric data is handled entirely by the Android system and is never accessed or stored by our App.
3. User Responsibility & Data Deletion
CleanerZ acts solely as a productivity tool to help you identify items you may want to delete to free up storage space.
- a. User Consent: The App will not delete any photo, video, or contact automatically or in the background. Every deletion action requires your explicit selection and confirmation.
- b. Irreversible Actions: Please be aware that when you confirm the deletion of media or contacts through the App, these items are permanently removed from your device.
- c. Disclaimer of Liability: You are entirely responsible for the files and data you choose to delete. UNGO Inc is not responsible for any accidental deletion, loss of data, or unrecoverable media resulting from your use of the App.
4. Third-Party Services (Advertising)
While we do not capture your personal data, we use third-party advertising services to support the free tier of the App.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers and similar technologies to collect non-personal data (such as device type and OS version) to provide targeted advertisements. If you purchase a Premium subscription, the App will become ad-free, and advertising SDKs will not be utilized to display ads to you.
5. Children’s Privacy
CleanerZ does not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 13. Because we do not collect personal data from any user, we inherently do not hold data for anyone under 13.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top.
