Welcome to Free Up Storage: Spaciva (“Spaciva”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).
By using Spaciva, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We strongly believe in your privacy. Spaciva does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data, photos, videos, or contacts with our servers or any third parties.
All core functionalities of the App—including photo scanning, duplicate detection, and contact organization—are performed locally on your device. Your private media and contacts never leave your iPhone.
2. Device Permissions
To provide its features, Spaciva requires necessary permissions from your iOS device. We only request these permissions to perform local tasks:
- Photo Library Access: Required strictly to scan for duplicates, blurry photos, and large videos, and to execute deletion commands exclusively initiated and confirmed by you.
- Contacts Access: Required strictly to analyze your address book for duplicates, missing information, and to execute merging or deletion commands exclusively initiated and confirmed by you.
- Face ID / Touch ID (Biometrics): Used locally to secure the “Secret Vault” feature. Biometric data is handled entirely by iOS and is never accessed or stored by our App.
3. User Responsibility & Data Deletion
Spaciva acts solely as a productivity tool to help you identify items you may want to delete to free up storage space.
a. User Consent: The App will not delete any photo, video, or contact automatically or in the background. Every deletion action requires your explicit selection and confirmation. b. Irreversible Actions: Please be aware that when you confirm the deletion of photos, videos, or contacts through the App, these items may be permanently removed from your device and/or iCloud account (usually moved to the “Recently Deleted” folder in iOS, depending on system settings). c. Disclaimer of Liability: You are entirely responsible for the files and data you choose to delete. We are not responsible for any accidental deletion, loss of data, or unrecoverable media resulting from your use of the App.
4. Third-Party Services (Advertising)
While we do not capture your personal data, we use third-party advertising services to help support the free tier of the App.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers, cookies, and similar technologies to collect non-personal data (such as device type, OS version, and location data if permitted by your device settings) to provide targeted advertisements.

- You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device tracking settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking) or your Google Ad Settings.
If you purchase a Premium subscription, the App will become ad-free, and advertising SDKs will not be utilized to display ads to you.
5. Children’s Privacy
Spaciva does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13. Furthermore, because we do not collect personal data from any user, we inherently do not hold data for anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information (which is technically not possible through our systems), please contact us, and we will take necessary steps to ensure compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
